Warranty & Return Policy

For products purchased from the official Shimono Malaysia website, you can request a return or refund within 14 calendar days of the purchase date (or delivery date, if later) if the product has a manufacturing defect. You'll need valid proof of purchase (receipt, invoice, or delivery confirmation).

Once we receive the returned product, we'll inspect it according to our policy and refund the original purchase price.

RETURN AND REFUND CONDITIONS

Customers are advised to examine their order upon receipt. Any defective, damaged, or incorrect items must be reported within 15 days of delivery.


Acceptable reasons for return or exchange:

  • Cracks, significant scratches, or dents
  • Motor malfunction

Returned products must be in their original, unopened packaging and in good condition.

RETURN PROCEDURE

  • You must request a return within 14 days of receiving your order.
  • When requesting a return or refund, please provide valid proof of purchase (original receipt or invoice). The original packaging, all included accessories, and any gifts must also be included.
  • When returning the product, please send back the entire set (including the original packaging, all accessories, and gifts) along with your proof of purchase (original receipt or invoice). The person responsible for the refund will be determined.

YOU WILL NOT BE ELIGIBLE FOR A RETURN OR REFUND IF:

  • You fail to provide valid proof of purchase (receipt or invoice) or the proof is altered.
  • The product's fault or damage is due to your actions, including:
  • Misuse or human error.
  • Unauthorized changes.
  • Incorrect installation.
  • Not following the instructions.
  • The returned item is not in its original, sealed, and new condition, or if it has been activated or used.

WARRANTY REPAIR SERVICE

If your Shimono product has a manufacturing defect within the warranty period, contact our after-sales service team. Once the defect is confirmed, you can get free warranty repair service. The Shimono vacuum warranty covers the main body motor for one year.

EFFECTIVE WARRANTY PERIOD

The warranty starts on the purchase date, as shown on your proof of purchase (receipt, invoice, or delivery confirmation if later). If you receive a replacement, the warranty restarts from the replacement date, requiring proof of replacement. Repaired or replaced accessories are covered for 3 months, or the remainder of the original product's warranty, whichever is longer.

YOU WILL NOT QUALIFY FOR FREE WARRANTY REPAIRS IF:

  • Products acquired from non-authorized dealers or sellers.
  • Damage resulting from improper use, maintenance, storage, or accidental damage.
  • Products and accessories identified as defective after the warranty period has concluded.
  • Products damaged by improper dismantling performed by the customer or unauthorized third parties.

CHARGES RELATED TO REPAIR SERVICES

  • Upon receiving a defective product, Shimono will inspect it to determine warranty eligibility. If the defect is covered, Shimono will pay for inspection, parts, labor, and shipping.
  • For products damaged by misuse or outside the warranty, customers are responsible for repair fees, parts costs, and one-way shipping if they choose to proceed with the repair.
  • If a customer cancels a repair for a product damaged by misuse or outside the warranty, they will be responsible for round-trip shipping costs.

IMPORTANT NOTES

  • Only products purchased from Shimono, or its authorized distributors can enjoy the after-sales service provided by this policy 
  • Shipping costs for repairs, both during and after warranty, are not covered. A handling fee will apply.
  • Customers are responsible for losses resulting from incorrect addresses or refused deliveries.
  • For undelivered or rejected items, we will store them. Storage and other costs will be charged to the customer. If unclaimed after 30 days, Shimono may dispose of the items.
